Northern Alsace (Bas-Rhin in french) is one of the regions in Europe which boasts the most Mediaeval castles. Today, most of them are in ruins, but their proud outlines have been part and parcel of the landscape for generations, taking us back in time to the mysterious world of the Middle Ages…
