The Vercors Royans Regional Natural Park is worthy of a book in itself. Such is its reputation that most mountain walkers have heard of the massif, a citadel which rises from 1000 to 2,300 metres.
The Vercors Park is a vast plateau with few access roads; each of these roads is in fact a tourist attraction in itself: the Grands Goulets, Combe Laval, the col de Rousset.
