Place saint Michel is of course one of the hearts of Paris. When one is held close to his quays, it offers a very pretty prospect to the east on Notre-Dame, opposite on the Law courts and west on Louvre. In its center, the Saint Michel fountain, one of the points of the most snuffed appointments the Parisian ones, will refresh you a little in summer.
Thanks to University of Sorbonne (the Parisian university whose reputation is international), the Latin Quarter is described as being the training college in Paris. If it is a thing interesting to see at the university, it is its vault where you will be able to see fall it from Richelieu.
The Museum of Cluny, which was built on the ruins of the Thermal baths of Cluny, is dedicated to the Average Age.
Moreover, the Latin Quarter is a district which has a strong identity and a last rich person. Indeed, it swarms with splendid Romance and medieval monuments.
