The castle of Azay-le-Rideau is a part of the famous ‘châteaux de la Loire’. This monument is classified by the UNESCO and belongs to the France government.
Geographically, the castle of Azay-le-Rideau is located in France in the department of the Indre-et-Loire on the commune of Azay-le-Rideau. Approximately 20 km in the West of the town of Tour in direction of Chinon.
It is one of the most beautiful castles of the French Renaissance, its construction was decided by Gilles Berthelot. It took 18 years to build it: between 1510 and 1528.
