Passage almost obliged for any person starting to discover the mountains from the Dauphine, this rather easy excursion gives access to the peak of the impressive barrier Is of Vercors. The panorama which the top of the 'pic St Michel' offers on a good part of the Grenoble-native area is quite simply splendid.
Departure: Lans in Vercors, carpark of Barnets (road of the 'stade de neige').
Access: from Grenoble, to join Sassenage and follow the road D 531 until Lans-in-Vercors
Made uneven: 700 m
