Departure of Grenoble: N91, to the south of Grenoble, leads to Séchilienne, where you must take the road D113 on the right, then the road D114 afterwards St-Barthélemy-de-Séchilienne. At the entrance of the station of Alpe of Large Tightens, continue on the left, during 15 mn, in direction of the lake of Poursollet, terminus of the secondary road.
Excursion: At the end of the parking, the GR50 leaves on the right under the trees and skirts the lake of Poursollet and some country cottages. At the bar 'les marmottes', you in the mountain pastures engage. The way, marked well, follows the foot of Taillefer in the forest and the stone drains. One cuts several brooks then one crosses the edge of the plate, visible throughout the excursion. The way skirts then the torrent of the lake Fourchu.
The lake Fourchu is largest of the many lakes constellating the plate. Walk you for all to discover perhaps them and you will see the horses left in freedom by a stockbreeder of Séchilienne.
