Royaumont Abbey is located near Asnières-sur-Oise in Val-d'Oise approximately 30 km north of Paris. It is a Cistercian abbey built 1228 and 1235 under the aegis of Louis IX.
The Royaumont Abbey church was dissolved in 1791 after the French revolution. But the sacristy, the cloister, and refectory remained intact.
The abbey is open 365 days a year
from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
(5:30 p.m. from November to February)
Ticket office closed between 12:45 and 1:45 p.m., Monday to Friday.
