The Pantheon is a monument located on the Holy-Genevieve Mountain, in Ve district of Paris, in the middle of the Latin Quarter of Paris. It is located beside the University of Paris I (Pantheon-Sorbonne), the University of Paris II (the Pantheon-Assas), the town hall of Ve district and the College Henri-IV. The street Soufflot draws a prospect to him starting from the Garden of Luxembourg.
This monument has now vocation to accomodate ashes of large characters having marked the French history. Its various destinations, its decoration, its inscriptions and its symbols make it possible to traverse slow and contrasted the construction of the French nation.
