Autun is a town of 15000 inhabitants located in the region Burgundy in the department of Saône-et-Loire.
The town of Autun is crossed by Arroux an affluent of the river the Loire.
Autun was created during the empire Roman, more exactly under the reign of the emperor Augustus.
