The panorama which the top of the 'pic St Michel' offers on a good part of the Grenoble-native area is quite simply splendid.

Departure: Lans in Vercors, carpark of Barnets (road of the 'stade de neige').

Access: from Grenoble, to join Sassenage and follow the road D 531 until Lans-in-Vercors

Made uneven: 700 m
