The summit of 'la Grande Sure' (1920 m.) is the culmination of which is long link between the Guiers Death Valley (Guiers Mort) and the Isère, the imposing facade of the Western mass of Chartreuse (which draws in the first gaze when it comes to the Alps from the west).
