The island of the City (Ile de la Cité in french) is the heart of Paris. It was the place of all the capacities: monarchical, legal, medical, religious and one finds the le Palais de Justice, la Conciergerie, l'Hôtel-Dieu, la Sainte Chapelle, in short, a concentrate of history a few away meters in the middle of the river.
