Paris has the largest Asian district or Chinatown d' Europe. It is located in the 13th district of Paris. The populations are mainly of origin Chinese, Vietnamese, Kampuchean, Laotian, which hold the majority of the trade of the district. They constitute most of the population in some towers of the door of Choisy and the door of Ivry.
The Asian district of the 13th district occupies especially the triangle formed by the avenue of Choisy, the avenue of Ivry and the Masséna boulevard, as well as the surrounding streets, of which the vast flagstone of the Olympiads. In this perimeter, the Asian presence is particularly visible because of the quasi-monopoly of the Chinese on the trade: restaurants, shops of curios, hairdressers and stores of food including the two large supermarkets

This site is served by the subway stations: Maison blanche, Olympiades and Tolbiac.
Other districts elsewhere in Paris also concentrate an Asian population such as the district of Belleville and the street Rébeval. This district concentrates mainly a population of Chinese origin come from old French Indo-China without forgetting others éthnies established with Marne-la-Vallée.
Another Chinese district, older but less visible, occupies the 3rd district (rue au Maire). Separate Sociologiquement of the other Asian districts of Paris, this district is inhabited people originating in China who often work in textile industries or of import-export of the district.
